On the afternoon December 13,2017, based on bilateral consultation between YZNU and the Malaysian Ministry of Education , "The Belt and Road" Sino-Malay Cultural Exchange Center is lunched in YZNU and functions as promoter of the exchange and cooperation of higher education. This action was strongly supported by the Chinese and Malaysian governments. Rujhan Bin Mustafa, CEO of the Education Malaysian Global Service (EMGS), led a 11-member delegation from the University of North University, University of Malaya and Putra University to YZNU to participate in the signing and unveiling ceremony of the “Belt and Road” Sino-Malay Cultural Exchange Center. Mr. Deng Rui, deputy director of the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, and Mr. Li Bin, deputy director of the International Department, led a panel to participate in the unveiling ceremony.
