On the morning of September 6, 2017, Prof. Huang Dayong, the President of Yangtze Normal University(YZNU), Prof. Cai Qiyong, the Vice President of YZNU, and the Directors of the School of International Education and the School of Liberal Arts met with Prof. Małgorzata Religa, Dean of the Department of Sinology at Warsaw University Poland, Prof. Lidia Kasarełło and Prof. Irena Kałużyńska. They held discussions on deepening exchange and cooperation between the two sides in the 103 reception room of Zhiyuan Building.

President Huang Dayong extended a warm welcome to the guests and introduced the basic situation of YZNU to the guests. President Huang said that Warsaw University is a well-known European university and the top university in Poland. The cooperation between two sides is a great support to YZNU. President Huang Dayong also expressed the hope that the two universities will continue to strengthen existing collaborations.

Director Religa thanked YZNU for the warm reception in fluent Chinese. She introduced the situation of Warsaw University and the Department of Sinology. She especially emphasized that many students of the Department of Sinology have a great interest in Chinese language, Chinese culture ,Chinese history and many teachers of the department are doing researches in Chinese folklore, Chinese policy, Chinese literature and Chinese media.

Vice President Cai Qiyong led Prof. Religa to visit the library and the Social Economic and Cultural Research Center of Wujiang River Basin.
